2C2A1418-copy Hello/ I’m a playwright and screenwriter, I’ve worked in theatre, film and TV and I’ve also workshopped and created plays using the headphone verbatim technique. My commissions include a play (monologue) for an actress inspired by her true story, Can You Hear Me Running? (Pleasance Theatre), a short play Sixty by Sixty Live (Stephen Joseph Theatre), a short VR film Utopia6 (Breaking Fourth) and a play for young people Whalesong (PGS). I have an MA in playwriting (distinction). I’m interested in compelling and surprising stories and especially developing scripts for female protagonists. I enjoy connecting with new creatives and working collaboratively. Please use the contact form to get in touch or find me on twitter @jjoharper. Thanks for visiting.
